To quote Thomas Campbell, we believe “the church on earth is essentially, intentionally, and constitutionally one.” For us, the unity of the church does not arise out of human actions,  but exists as the gift of God. Christian union is an essential attribute of the body of Christ (from Joined in Discipleship by Mark G. Toulouse). People have asked what we will be reading and how much in the Disciples History Class. Above is a sample of some of the text. We have placed an envelope in the box outside the office door that contains a listing of our readings for each of the eight weekly sessions.
