Sunday School-----------------9:15 AM Fellowship and Greeting-----10:15 AM Worship Service---------------10:45 AM Our worship services take place on Sunday mornings in our sanctuary in San Antonio, Texas, on the corner of Eckhert and Huebner. The service starts at 10:45 AM and typically lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes. Feel free to wear whatever clothes make you most comfortable. We care more that you are here than about what you wear. You'll find that some of us dress up for church and some of us don't. Our service is a mix of contemporary and traditional. We start our service with praise singing and sing hymns throughout the service. There will be worship, music, and preaching. You are invited to hang out with us before the service and have a cup of coffee, or lag behind afterwards and chat with someone you'd like to get to know better. We provide a nursery each week for the youngest children, and most weeks, the children up to nine years old enjoy a special children's church service catered just for them. But you'll see children of all ages active in the service and enjoying each other's company before and after church, or during youth group.

Most Sundays following the choir’s anthem, children 5-9 leave for Children’s Church. This is a service developed specifically to help younger children to understand the meaning of the formal church service. It begins with the lighting of the candle, prayer, and singing followed by a lesson, crafts, and a snack. Younger children are encouraged to participate. One unique feature of Western Hills’ Children’s Church is the involvement of older youth who assist the teacher each Sunday…the first step to becoming ready to take a leadership role in the future. These youth are wonderfully enthusiastic and take great pride in helping. What a wonderful future lays in store for our youth…God’s world is in good hands!
