Beginning as a group of the Disciples of Christ that encouraged mission effort in the church, the CWF this year celebrates its fiftieth anniversary.  Remaining sensitive to and with the issues of today, the organization continues to fulfill its original purpose:

    "to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church of Jesus Christ."

WHCC's DAY CWF meets the third Wednesday morning of each month, except during the summer, at 9:30 am in the church parlor for coffee.  The meeting begins at 9:45 am.

The NIGHT CWF meets on the second Thursday evening at 7:00 pm in the Runnels Building.  Ladies generally join the fellowship that meets at the time which is most convenient for themselves.  Both groups have service outreach projects and, during their meetings, provide study and fellowship.
