The children of Western Hills Christian Church have the opportunity to attend church camps throughout the year.  The most popular of these camps is the summer camp.  The kids have a great time and here are the highlights from their camp experience:

“The best part about camp was meeting people from other churches and making new friends.” - Nathan

“My favorite part about camp was art time because I have not been able to do any form of art in a long time.” - Antonia

“I met a lot of new people and grew closer to God.” - Nicole

“I really enjoyed the drama group where other campers and I worked together on skits to perform in front of the rest of the camp and parents.” - Kristina

Throughout the week, many of the JYF members were asked how they were doing.  Many responded that they were having a great time and glad that they were at camp.  They all grew in their faith and in new Christian friendships.  Each of them is looking forward to many more camps down the road.  Being a part of this congregation, they have all of the support to grow strong in Christ and teach many others along the way.  You are the ones making everything possible for each of us.  Thank you again for all of your love and support through out the year but, most of all thank you for sending all of us to camp.
