The Fellowship Hall was decked out in football and Texas regalia for the 3rd annual Chili Cook-off.  The new tables were set up for chili-loving participants to enjoy the 11 delicious, distinctive entries, which were judged by Bryan Edwards, Pam Neuman, David Johnson, Jimmy Scarborough, Jim Feiger, and Chief Justice Gail Van Vessen (there was rumor that several of the area Emergency Rooms had patients complaining of hyperchiliphobia).  There was even Mac ‘N Cheese and Chicken Caldo provided by the Lime family for the children and less adventurous diners.

The winners were each awarded the coveted golden or ruby (spicy) spoon trophy.  This was a wonderful way to pass a few hours while awaiting the Super Bowl hype.  Special thanks go out to the judges, all participants, members of the Fellowship Ministry, and Angela Knight, our ticket seller.
